Sir,?Dr. L. Westerna Sambon's article on the Etiology of Sunstroke published in the British Medical Journal of Saturday, March 19th, 1898, might interest your enquirer W. B. I know nothing of the author, but the article just referred to appears to me to be full of interest. A study of the theories adduced, supported as they are by careful argument and verified facts, might influence the authorities in the abolition of the present military helmet and its substitution by one better adapted to act as a sunshade, which would appear to be all that is required.
